The Bijagual Waterfall (Catarata Bijagual) plunges nearly 300 feet down the face of the Fila Chonta escarpment — making it the second-tallest waterfall in Costa Rica. A guided horseback ride or a rugged hike through primary rainforest leads to its base, where the spray cools the air and a deep pool invites the brave.
