The three days
Day 1
Arrival · Bijagual Waterfall
Settle into your mountain lodge above the Pacific. As the light softens, your private chef serves dinner on the terrace. The next morning, a guided descent through old-growth rainforest to the base of Bijagual Falls — at 328 meters, Costa Rica's second-tallest waterfall. Swim the natural pool. Return for a long lunch.
Day 2
Punta Leona Beach Resort
A full day at the base of the mountain. Three resort pools set against the Pacific, beachside ceviche and craft cocktails at sunset over Playa Blanca's white sand. Snorkel the protected cove, or simply let the day unspool at the water's edge.
Day 3
Jacó Beach · Tortuga Island
Morning at the famous Jacó Beach, then a boat ride out of Los Sueños Marina to Isla Tortuga — calm turquoise water, reef life below, a prepared lunch on the sand. Back up the mountain for a final evening above the canopy.
The lodge
Two double beds for couples, and two bunk beds — room for two children, or one adult. The lodge is yours alone for the stay.
Refund policy
The full getaway fee is refunded against the purchase of any homesite or residence at Macaw Crest Estates. Come as our guest — if you choose to stay, the visit costs you nothing.
